Fast versus Relax mode
Fast mode returns an image in roughly a minute and draws down your monthly GPU hour allowance. Relax mode is unlimited on Standard and above but queues behind other Relax jobs, sometimes taking several minutes per image. A high-volume workflow on Standard or higher can generate essentially unlimited images by accepting Relax queue times for anything beyond the Fast hour budget.
Who Midjourney fits
Midjourney suits visual concept work, mood boards, character design exploration and stylized imagery where its particular aesthetic is a feature, not a constraint. It is a different tool from a photoreal product-image pipeline, where consistency and brand accuracy usually matter more than stylistic range.
