A budget tool for a specific production goal
Not Cheap AI helps creators and small teams estimate additional spending on AI video, images and narration. It starts with the volume of content you want to publish and compares complete combinations of tools against that workload.
The project is maintained by Dejan. The site combines a deterministic calculator with AI-assisted guides. Examples are calculated scenarios, not claims that every tool has been tested in a real production campaign. Provider facts are linked separately from our own planning assumptions.
What we aim to make clear
A verified per-unit price is only part of a budget. Remaining quotas, credit balances, minimum purchases and rejected generations can change how much you need to pay. We show those differences so you can assess the trade-offs before committing to a plan.
The catalog is deliberately limited to the options with pricing evidence recorded in the model. It is not an exhaustive market directory. Internal quality scores are heuristic comparisons, not laboratory results or provider ratings.
Independence and limitations
The site currently uses ordinary provider documentation links, without affiliate tracking or paid placement in the rankings. The calculator does not buy subscriptions, generate media or send your project to a provider.
The current version is a private preview. Public launch, search indexing and advertising are separate steps. If you spot a factual or calculation error, please contact us with the page and the inputs that produced it.
